Prometheus Computing is looking for a Software Engineer to participate in the development of a Java application using Semantic Web technology for one of its clients in Gaithersburg, MD. The application being developed is a crawler and search engine for medical data and scientific images. The applicant will join a team of developers and researchers and will help design, implement and maintain the application.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science
• Expertise in Java
• Knowledge of Semantic Web technology is a plus (RDF, OWL, ontologies)
• Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.
